China is Africa's leading trading partner. It is also Africa's largest creditor and infrastructure financier. A survey published in November 2021 by the pan-African institute Afrobarometer, which states 63% of Africans believe China has had a positive influence in their country. There are over 10 000 Chinese companies in Africa which are 90% private owned and companies’ employment is 89% local employees.

Or is China Africa’s new colonial power who is only after natural resources and forcing African countries in the depth traps? Is European companies losing African market and business for Chinese?
