The goal is to help Finnish companies establish a successful presence in Brazil and potentially attract venture capital investment from local funds. The program is free of charge for participating companies. Felipe will present the Scale Up in Brazil program — a soft-landing initiative designed to support startups from Finland\, Israel\, Japan\, and Singapore in establishing operations in the Brazilian market. The program equips international tech companies with essential tools and methodologies to navigate Brazil’s business environment\, offering support in business development\, strategic planning\, and access to the country’s investor and innovation ecosystem.\nLaunched in 2019 by the Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (ABVCAP)\, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Agency (ApexBrasil)\, and Israel Trade & Investment\, the program is now in its fifth edition. It has accelerated 66 companies\, with 13 successfully establishing operations in Brazil.\nJaana Goeggel - General Partner at Sororitê Ventures.  Jaana will give an overview of the innovation ecosystem in Brazil\, including trends and opportunities. She is a Partner at Sororitê Ventures\, a venture capital fund focused on early-stage startups founded or co-founded by women. Jaana holds a degree in engineering from ETH Zurich and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She also brings extensive executive experience from global companies such as Expedia\, American Express\, and McKinsey & Company.
