Different studies show that there are several types of mineral deposits/indices: Gold\, nickel\, cobalt\, lithium\, cassiterite\, wolfram\, tin\, etc. In addition\, it is widely acknowledged that Burundi holds the second-largest coltan reserves in the EAC and the world's 2nd-largest nickel reserves: three nickel deposits\, whose reserves are estimated at around 260 million tons\, or 6% of the world's nickel reserves.\nBurundi also has forests and parks.
