For example\, in the biggest city Lagos\, only 1/8 of the power consumption comes from the national grid. The rest of the electricity in Lagos primarily comes from diesel generators.\nFifteen years ago\, Finland established its centers of excellence and built capacity for medical tourism. Now\, Nigeria is following by creating centers of excellence that offer world-class medical services in specialties such as cardiology\, oncology\, orthopaedics\, and fertility treatments. Currently\, Nigerians spend $2 billion annually on medical tourism abroad. Nigeria aims to make a significant shift by attracting patients from other African countries and beyond for specialized surgeries and treatments. To provide high-quality services\, these centers require advanced technology.\nNigeria has Africa’s largest ICT market\, leading the continent in telecom subscriptions and internet usage.\n\nWELCOME.\n \nPicture: Pixabay
