Twenty years ago, on May 1, 2004, Latvia joined the European Union. Before and after accession process Latvia has undertaken substantial economic transition and now together with other EU partners is in the midst of green transition. It is a necessity and a business opportunity. Already now Latvia is 3rd greenest country in the European Union but we are not stopping there.
The Embassy of Latvia in Finland, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, Business Finland and Finland-Latvia Business Association cordially invite you to attend the roundtable discussion “Future of Energy and Green Business in Latvia; celebrating 20 years in the European Union”.
In the discussion our experts will focus on Latvia’s priorities and advantages in green business, including circular economy, green technologies and renewable energy projects as well as reflect on the experience of Latvian and Finnish companies doing business in Latvia after joining the EU.
The roundtable will be followed by a reception.
